Bathroom Vanity Classification

Bathroom vanities can be categorized by material, style, and installation method. By material, common materials include veneered wood, solid wood, stainless steel, tempered glass, ceramic, and PVC. Solid wood vanities can be further divided into integrated panel vanities, antique-style solid wood vanities, and oak vanities. Metal vanities can be categorized into stainless steel vanities, magnesium-aluminum alloy vanities, and crystal panel (plexiglass) vanities.

By style, bathroom vanities can be divided into fully enclosed, semi-open, and open types. By installation method, common types include traditional floor-standing cabinets and wall-mounted cabinets. When purchasing, the moisture resistance of the material is a key consideration. Among common bathroom vanity base materials, plywood has good moisture resistance and can be used in humid areas; particleboard has poor nail-holding power and is not suitable for humid areas; stainless steel has no deformation or formaldehyde issues, but it is more expensive. It should be noted that solid wood, due to its natural characteristics, is not suitable for use in the humid environment of a bathroom.
